Completion
Chabanne Industry has the necessary machine-tools for all metal wire and strip work and also completion operations.
Chamfering, at whatever angle, helps smooth the extremities of the wire or strip and/or makes it easier to fit the part into a hole for example.
Our automatic thread rolling and cutting machines can produce threads ranging from M1 to M12 in diameter.
We can also perform pressing, end-forming, crimping operations on the metal wire to produce a flat surface for drilling or anti-rotation or stop purposes.
Crimping is typically performed with a press to assemble parts. We drill, stamp and tap wires and strips directly or for rework on our production machines.
The company also has significant expertise in welding. Both T and butt welding operations are automatic. We perform TIG welding operations on metal wire parts.

Surface treatment
Once the parts have been formed they can be treated to improve their corrosion resistance or enhance appearance.
We can provide a wide range of surface treatments to meet all your requirements.
The most common treatments are electro-galvanising and hot-dip galvanising which involves applying a layer of zinc of varying thickness to protect metal parts from corrosion.
Chrome, epoxy paint and polishing are typically used for appearance purposes. Once treated the parts can be used immediately without requiring any other operation or application.
We call upon the services of local subcontractors, all of whom have substantial know-how in different surface treatments for metal parts to be in a position to propose to our customers a wide range of coatings and finishes.
Tin and copper-plating enhance the electrical conduction and protect from corrosion, anodizing aluminium improves the surface finish, lamination, cathodic coating, and more.

Customised assembly
Thanks to our 65 years’ experience, we have developed unparalleled expertise in industrial assembly and propose complete sub-assemblies. We adapt our manufacturing tools by designing special machines or tools according to requirements to assemble numerous components. We can produce sub-assemblies in runs of a few hundred to several million. The assemblies are made up of metal wire parts and metal strip parts or plastic components.
Assembly operations can be performed by welding, crimping, clipping, gluing or screwing.

Tailored packaging
To overcome issues of entanglement and down time on production lines, the company has developed a line of automated packaging solutions.
The metal parts are stacked on special supports or stuck together making them much easier to pick out and use. Our expertise means we can adapt our solutions according to batch size. The slight additional cost of customised packaging is largely offset by the time saved for the customer.
Metal wire parts can be packed in boxes, plastic bags or personalised containers.
